Paradise in a hidden beachfront cove.
Where do I start. This Abu Dhabi jewel is made of dreams come true. My adult children and I have just returned after a two vacation over Christmas, New Year. This is my second visit to this almost secret gem of a hotel. I was here in August when temperatures were in the 50's (if you like the heat then do go visit). This time as a Christmas gift I arrived with my three grown up shildren. We were spoilt from the moment we walked through those welcoming doors. The Christmas decor was exceptionally chic. The New Year's Eve banquet 'The best I have ever attended', I have celebrated NYE all over the world from the Maldives to NYC yet here was hands down the best. The plushness of this hotel is screaming luxury. Every whim is taken care of. The executive suite (I requested the same room I had in August). Everything you need is here from hairdryer, iron, mini bar, toiletries, fresh linen & towels and a super king bed that is just like heaven in a hug. The scenery is something from a dream. Beautiful white sands and clear waters very well maintained beach or cove I should say. The pool and pool bar with scrumptious food and cocktails really does deliver all you need for thos lazy days. Food, if you want global authentic food made to michelin star standard then trust me, you will receive it. Every meal time was a spread fit for a king or should I say Sheik. The decadence of this tucked away serene, tranquil paradise is everything a 6 star hotel offers you eventhough this beauty is rated 5. You are spolit from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. If you want a real vacation with no phones to disturb your peace this is the place (WIFI amazing here). If you do wish to get away to visit places I would recommend car hire. Alas if you want to recharge & chillaxe then people this is the one for you. Friendly faces greeted you on every level, from a team that are beyond happy in their roles. Don't take my word for it, book and see for yourself. Business Trip to Ruwais
I have been using this hotel for over 10 years now and must say that the service and accommodation are excellent in every respect. The staff is professional, friendly and very helpful. I would particularly like to highlight the buffet which really leaves nothing to be desired. The service in the restaurant as well as at the bar is excellent. There is ample parking, a beautiful private beach, an excellent pool and everything surrounded by a beautiful park. It is always a pleasure to come back here

Just perfect.
I’ve never written a review before as I’ve never particularly felt so cared for by a resort. I visited the Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort for two weeks along with my mum, brother, sister and my step dad. My mum and step dad came here 16 weeks before we did and my mum always brought us up to never visit the same place twice because of how big the world is. But when she came here 16 weeks prior for her honeymoon she said the only thing missing was her kids. So, in order to make it perfect she set up another chance to come here with me and my siblings coming with and I must say it was absolutely phenomenal. There was nothing negative about this resort. The staff really bring it higher. Wathsara (whatsapp), Sharifah, Juliet, Vishal, Freda, Nisha, Retheesh, Kwee and I won’t keep going because the list will go on forever. But they were all just amazing and brought a lovely feel to the atmosphere. Every corner I turned I was giving a smiling and receiving one bigger. I came on this holiday with a family of 5 but left with a family of infinity. I am hopefully coming back in August to see my family again! It was a perfect holiday.

Overall, our stay was pleasant, with comfortable accommodations and thoughtful amenities.
Good: 1. The coastline is excellent, with clean sand and a beautiful sea. A truly relaxing and enjoyable experience! 2. We appreciated the convenient location of the gym near the kids' play area. It made it easy to stay active while keeping an eye on our children. Great planning! 3. The main restaurant offers a decent variety of dishes. However, it would be nice to see more European cuisine options.
Bad: 1. Poor sound insulation in the chalet. Even during the low season, we could hear the TV and music, which suggests it might be even noisier in the summer. 2. The cafe-bar in the lobby does not allow charging purchases to the room account. This was inconvenient as I had to carry my wallet along with my room key when spending time at the pool or beach. Adding this option would improve the guest experience. 3. It would be helpful if junior-sized squash rackets were available for children. This would make the activity more inclusive and enjoyable for families. 4. The food in the main restaurant, particularly at the appetizer display, appeared dry and weathered. It would be great to improve freshness for a better dining experience.

Great location, great hospitality, great value as well.
Good: Excellent location and service. Special mention of Putri at check in desk and Madhu at lost and found who went out of the way to make our visit memorable. Great balloons and cake delivered at midnight for a birthday celebration. Honestly - the day here was better experience than Anantara Desert Island where we stayed the next 2 days.
Bad: Need to allow guests to take pool towels to the room - The pool is kept warm but it’s very chilly outside. So the moment we step out we want run indoors. Don’t like the idea of people chasing us for towels. Everything else was awesome!

All- inclusive disappointing
Good: The staff were kind, smooth check-in and the meals were tasty with a decent amount of options for each meal.
Bad: The all-inclusive option was not worth it at all, there is no beach bar so had to walk to the pool each time go get a drink, and they had to check us each time instead of providing bracelets. Also they refused to serve us drinks in the evening in the hotel bar. They made us pay extra for the NYE party even though we had an all-inclusive package. They provided us with a minibar menu even though our minibar was empty. The beach was great but with a lot of tide, it is impossible to swim in the afternoon and the pool was very small compared to the size of the hotel so it was often overcrowded.

Our stay at Jebel Dhanna Resort was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the staff made us feel right at home. The service and hospitality exceeded all expectations, and the memories we created here are ones we will cherish forever. We would like to give a special shoutout to the incredible team that made our experience so remarkable. In the kitchen, Chef Teseen (Executive), Chef Eldhose, Chef Sharifah, Chef Freda, and Chef Shageesha prepared the most delicious meals, leaving us in awe of their talent. The service team, including Sadeepa, Yoon, Khalid, Sayeed, Binod, James, Su and Rateesh, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Their attention to detail and friendly demeanor truly stood out. Ajay from the concierge was always there smiling, helpful and ready to give a high five to our baby! There are a ton of people in forgetting, but thank you all! You ROCK! We didn’t want to leave, as everything about our stay felt like a dream. Thank you, Jebel Dhanna Resort, for an amazing and unforgettable getaway. We can’t wait to visit again soon!

Good: Medium sized property which meant no mad queues for breakfast, beach and pool was not too busy. The sea was crystal clear. Staff is very attentive and polite.

Good: I liked the Hotel Ambience and staff who are quite nice and smiling to customers
Bad: AC issues, noise coming from near by rooms and also throwing things from balcony on people eating food outdoor. This is not under the control of Hotel anyway. But still need to instruct customer with rebellious children.

After several vacations in the Emirates, we decided on the Hotel Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort for a relaxing vacation. If you want the hustle and bustle, you can go to Abu Dhabi or better to Dubai. And we didn't regret this decision. We received a very friendly welcome and were looked after very pleasantly for 14 days without exception. Here are some representatives of the great, highly motivated team: the reception team who responded within minutes, Saurav who kept our room extremely clean, Freda, Sharafi and Sagesha who worked magic in the kitchen, Nisha, Lakshani and Whatsara who kept us hydrated and the many others who keep this wonderful facility running at this high level. Please don't change a winning team like this! The rooms need some renovation but not the beds and the pillows, they are fantastic!

My week stay felt too short, thanks to the warm and welcoming staff who made every moment special. The F&B team truly stood out, delivering exceptional service and delicious meals that catered to every taste. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality turned every dining experience into a memorable one. Special thanks to Juliet and Sarath for spoiling me everytime I’m in the restaurant :) If you’re seeking a serene retreat with top-notch service, this is the place to be. I can’t wait to return! Personal experience : this place is refreshing and the hospitality is warm
It’s a personal experience for me. I was here during Christmas weekend in 2024 and new years night in 2019. I can only say that if you need to go to a place away from the hype and enjoy peace and quiet - come to jebel dhanna resort by Danat. You will arrive in your car and stay directly in front of your villa.

Bad: Wifi coverage is poor, Kids club is good for 5 years. Sports equipment were worn off and old like badminton shuttles , basketball and Table tennis rackets.
