In need of big renovation
I got the hotel assigned by Etihad taking the opportunity of a stopover in Abu Dhabi on my way back to Europe.
The hotel is well situated in the center of Abu Dhabi, and the staff is very nice.
It is in need of renovation work, everything looks pretty old. The room we received was quite big, the bed was however quite small, and the worst thing about it was that the room was quite smelly (was like a former smoking room or actually a smoking room, even if we requested a non-smoking room). But since we arrived quite late, we basically stayed in the room (it was for one night only). The furniture, as well as the carpet were pretty old and worn out, but the room and bathroom were clean.
Breakfast was good.
I would have given a lower rating, however my score is based also on the kindness of the staff as well as the fact that we got a very good offer for a late check out, since our flight was leaving in the middle of the night.
Overall, next time I would choose a different hotel. |
